A multi-layer fabric with paperside to lower surface weft ratios of greater than 1 in which all paperside weft yarns interlace with the warp yarns in an identical manner. The paperside weft yarns intermittently buttress against adjacent paperside weft yarns an d possess an average lateral crimp ratio of greater than 1.62 giving a fabric having an air permeability of less than 275 c.f.m. at 1/2 inch water pressure.
Cette invention concerne un tissu multicouche dont les proportions des fils de trame de la face papier par rapport à ceux de la surface inférieure sont supérieures à 1, tous les fils de trame de la face papier étant entrelacés avec les fils de chaîne de manière identique.
