A fabric care composition comprises a perfume and a compound which is obtainable by the reaction of epichlorohydrin with an amine. The amine is a derivative of a polyamine in which at least one but not all of the amino groups bear long chain acyl groups. The compound or the composition may be used to soften and/or condition fabric during a laundering process.

Cette composition d'entretien des étoffes comprend un parfum ainsi qu'un composé qui s'obtient au moyen d'une réaction entre une épichlorhydrine et une amine. L'amine est un dérivé d'une polyamine dans laquelle au moins l'un des groupes -mais pas tous les groupes- porte des groupes acyles à chaîne longue. Il est possible d'utiliser le composé ou la composition pour l'assouplissement ou le conditionnement des étoffes, lors d'un processus de lavage.
