ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Fabric conditioning articles comprising a receptacle re- leasably containing a pH control agent or electrolyte, and fabric conditioning particles which have a coating of an agent which is insolubilized/made indispersible by the pH control agent or elec- trolyte. The pH control agent or electrolyte in such articles being separated from the fabric conditioning particles. Methods of using the articles are also provided.
