ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fabric for a cardiovascular prosthesis of woven multifilament polymeric yarns extending in first and second directions forming an angle therebetween. The yarns of each direction having cripms similarly oriented with respect to the plane of the fabric and being bloomed in their interstices to form open interstices evenly distributed throughout the fabric. The fabric easily stretches in at least one direction.
