The invention relates to a woven sculpted fabric for manufacture of a tissue web having a tissue contacting surface that includes a first group of strands extending in the cross-machine direction of the woven sculpted fabric and a second group of strands extending in the machine direction. The first group of strands are adapted to produce elevated floats and depressed sinkers, defining a three -three-dimensional fabric surface comprising: a) a first background region having a set of substantially parallel first elevated floats separated by a set of substantially parallel first depressed sinkers; b) a second background region having a set of substantially parallel second elevated floats separated by a set of substantially parallel second depressed sinkers; and, c) a transition region positioned between the first and second background regions, wherein the first elevated floats of the first background region descend to become the second depressed sinkers of the background region.
La présente invention concerne un tissu sculpté (30), destiné à la fabrication d'une bande de papier possédant une surface de contact avec le papier. La surface de contact avec le papier du tissu sculpté (30) comporte au moins un premier groupe de brins (44) s'étendant dans le sens travers du tissu sculpté, et un second groupe de brins s'étendant dans le sens machine. Le premier groupe de brins est adapté pour produire des flottés surélevés (60) et des laissés surbaissés, définissant une surface de tissu tridimensionnelle comprenant : a) une première zone de fond (38) comportant un ensemble de premiers flottés surélevés (41) sensiblement parallèles, séparés par un ensemble de premiers laissés surbaissés sensiblement parallèles ; b) une seconde zone de fond (50) comportant un ensemble de seconds flottés surélevés (53) sensiblement parallèles, séparés par un ensemble de seconds laissés surbaissés sensiblement parallèles ; et, c) une zone de transition (62) placée entre les première (38) et seconde (50) zones de fond, les premiers flottés surélevés (41) de la première zone de fond descendant pour former les seconds laissés surbaissés de la zone de fond.
