Pad for carrying liquid having a piece of non-woven material which is capable of absorbing an amount of said liquid at least about 1.5 times it's own weight, a first ink printed on a first surface of said material and a second ink printed on either the first or a second surface of said material wherein the first ink is substantially in register with the second ink. Method for making a printed pad for carrying a liquid including the steps of feeding a web of non-woven material into a rotogravure press, printing a first ink with the press on a first surface of said web, printing a second ink with the press substantially in register with the first ink on the first surface or a second surface of said web. System for cutting, in repeat length, printed designs from a web of elastic material, to form printed pads, having: an unwinding station, an infeed station, a diecutting cylinder having a circumference greater than said repeat length and connected to a correction gearbox, processor electronically coupled to sensors for controlling said infeed station and said diecutter.
L'invention concerne un tampon destiné à contenir un liquide. Ledit tampon comprend une pièce de matériau non-tissé capable d'absorber une quantité dudit liquide, correspondant à environ au moins 1 fois et demi son propre poids, une première encre appliquée par impression sur une première surface dudit matériau et une deuxième encre étant appliquée par impression, soit sur la première, soit sur la deuxième surface dudit matériau, la première encre étant alignée sensiblement avec la deuxième encre. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de fabrication d'un tampon imprimé destiné à contenir un liquide, qui consiste à envoyer une bande de matériau non-tissé dans une presse de rotogravure, à appliquer par impression la première encre à l'aide de la presse sur une première surface de ladite bande, à appliquer par impression une deuxième encre à l'aide de la presse, sensiblement dans l'alignement de la première encre, sur la première surface ou sur une deuxième surface de ladite bande. L'invention se rapporte encore à un système pour découper, à une longueur répétée, des motifs imprimés dans une bande de matériau élastique, de sorte que des tampons soient formés. Ledit système comprend: un poste de déroulement, un poste d'alimentation, un cylindre de découpage à l'emporte-pièce dont la circonférence est supérieure à la longueur répétée et raccordé à une boîte d'engrenage de correction, un processeur couplé électroniquement aux capteurs pour la commande dudit poste d'alimentation et dudit dispositif de découpage à l'emporte-pièce.
