The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous odor-absorbing composition for use on inanimate surfaces. The composition comprises from about 0.1 % to about 5 % of solubilized, uncomplexed cyclodextrin, preferably, an effective amount of a solubilized, water-soluble antimicrobial preservative having a water-solubility of greater than about 0.3 %, preferably, from about 0 % to about 10 %, by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble metallic salt, aqueous carrier and wherein said composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric and wherein said composition is essentially free of perfume and has a pH greater than about 3.
L'invention concerne une composition d'absorption d'odeurs stable, aqueuse et conçue pour s'utiliser sur des surfaces inanimées. Cette composition comprend d'environ 0,1 à 5 % de cyclodextrine solubilisée, non séquestrée; de préférence, une quantité efficace d'un conservateur solubilisé, soluble dans l'eau et antimicrobien, dont la solubilité dans l'eau est supérieure à environ 0,3 %; de préférence, d'environ 0 à 10 % en poids de la composition d'un sel métallique soluble dans l'eau et solubilisé, et un véhicule aqueux, ladite composition étant essentiellement exempte de tout matériau susceptible de salir ou de tacher le tissu, ainsi que de parfum, et possédant un pH supérieur à 3 environ.
