-18- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A motor vehicle frame has two longitudinal side members and a plurality of cross members The front portion of the side member has an integrally stamped portion which includes an integrally formed spring tower and an aperture adapted to receive a brake fluid hose leading to a wheel assembly. A mid-section of the side members includes a fabrication of upper and lower plate members with an inter- connecting web section therebetween. A rear portion of the frame includes the side member formed from two C-channel portions with an aperture therethrough and a cross member passing through the apertures with a bracket integrally formed at each end of the cross member for connection with a wheel assembly of the vehicle.
