When a human sensor detects a person to be authenticated, an illumination unit acquires environmental illumination intensity measured by an illumination intensity sensor, determines illumination intensity by using illumination intensity conversion information that is information representing illumination intensity according to environmental illumination intensity, and controls illumination intensity of a light source so that it emits light with the determined illumination intensity. In the above, the illumination intensity according to the environmental illumination intensity is determined such that, when the environmental illumination intensity is low, the illumination intensity is low and such that, when the environmental light intensity is high, the illumination intensity is high. A face authentication terminal authenticates the person with illumination made by the illumination unit.
Selon l'invention, lorsqu'un détecteur de personne détecte une personne à authentifier, une unité d'éclairage acquiert l'intensité d'éclairage ambiant à l'aide d'un détecteur d'intensité d'éclairage, détermine ce niveau d'intensité en utilisant des informations de conversion d'intensité d'éclairage, c'est-à-dire les informations qui représentent l'intensité d'éclairage en fonction de l'intensité lumineuse ambiante puis commande l'intensité d'éclairage d'une source lumineuse afin d'émettre une lumière d'intensité déterminée. Dans la situation ci-dessus, l'intensité d'éclairage en fonction de l'intensité lumineuse ambiante est déterminée de sorte que lorsque cette dernière est faible, l'intension d'éclairage est faible et lorsque l'intensité lumineuse ambiante est élevée, l'intensité d'éclairage est élevée. Un terminal d'authentification de visage authentifie la personne éclairée par l'unité d'éclairage.
