ABSTRACT The utility of the invention is one of pleasure in a competitive atmosphere andteaching the rudiments of the sport of hockey. It can be classified as a game of skill and/or luck. Player "A" versus Player "B" Participants commence at face-off, a position so designated in the centre area of the playing surface known as centre ice. A participant begins actual play by rolling a cubed dice. Participant moves forward in the general direction of the goal position located at opposite ends of playing surface and can proceed anywhere from one to six positions on a roll of the dice. The positions are so illustrated and self explanatory to enable the participant to proceed or retreat in an attempt to land on a position so designated to award the participant a point known as a goal. There are two positions in designated areas on which a participant can land, and is subsequently awarded a goal. There are four positions in the shape of a star situated on the four corners of the playing surface. A participant who lands on any of these positions is awarded an opportunity to select a card from a series of cards; such cards are self explanatory either to proceed or retreat. The perimeter of the playing area is rectangular in shape and the designated positions are so illustrated to form an outside track. Inside the perimeter of this track in a designated area is a series of spaces tocomprise a penalty box. If a participant lands in this area, he proceeds on the roll of the dice unlessspecified otherwise. Each participant is entitled to one roll of a dice unless otherwise specified byillustrated positions or card. An area is comprised of a series of numbered spaces to total five (5) goals. Any one participant who scores the first five (5) goals is declared the winner of the match. ABSTRACT - Cont'd This area is known as the score board and contains spaces for four participants.Each participant in effect represents a team, eg. Reds, Blues, Blacks, Golds. An additional area is designated to contain a series of cards to be used and discarded by participants during the course of play. This series of cards is known as thePower Pac.
