ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A connector system is taught for interconnecting a printed circuit board with electrical input and output terminals. The connector has two detachable parts. One part comprises a terminal board with screw-type terminal locks and an array of relatively flat contact members disposed in electrical continuity with the terminal locks. This portion of the connector is fixedly disposed upon a rack or cabinet member of electrical apparatus such as a programmable con- troller. The other detachable portion is physically and electrically interconnected with a printed circuit card which is operable to perform circuit functions such as programmable controller circuit functions. Electrical interconnections from the printed circuit card are fed through the detachable connector portion to an array of relatively flat connectors. The latter array of connectors is generally complementary to the former array of connectors. When the printed circuit card is disposed in the rack or cabinet in operative disposi- tion the first and second mentioned detachable members are physically interlocked and electrically interconnected at the previously mentioned arrays.
