A facing panel (1) is provided for assembly with like facing panels to form a facing of a stabilised earth structure. The facing panel has two opposed side edges (2) for arrangement edge-to-edge with the side edges of laterally adjacent facing panels, each side edge having a front portion (5) which is straight over substantially the full height of the facing panel, and a rear portion comprising a lateral projection (8) over part of its length and an abutment (6, 7) over another part of its length, the lateral projection being provided for engagement behind a respective abutment on the side edge of a laterally adjacent facing panel to restrain forward movement of the facing panel, and the abutment being provided for engagement in front of a respective lateral projection of said laterally adjacent facing panel or of another laterally adjacent facing panel to restrain rearward movement of the facing panel.

On décrit un panneau de revêtement (1) destiné à être assemblé avec des panneaux semblables pour former un revêtement pour une structure de terre stabilisée. Ce panneau présente deux bords latéraux opposés (2) prévus pour être disposés bord à bord avec des bords latéraux de panneaux de revêtements latéralement adjacents. Chaque bord latéral présente une partie frontale (5), droite sur l'essentiel de la hauteur du panneau, et une partie arrière comprenant une saillie latérale (8) sur une partie de sa longueur et une butée (6, 7) sur une autre partie de cette longueur. Cette saillie latérale est destinée à s'accoupler à l'arrière d'une butée correspondante disposée sur le côté latéral d'un panneau latéralement adjacent, pour prévenir le déplacement vers l'avant de son panneau de revêtement, et la butée est destinée à s'accoupler à l'avant d'une saillie latérale respective dudit panneau de revêtement latéralement adjacent, ou d'un autre panneau adjacent, qui prévient le déplacement vers l'arrière de son panneau de revêtement.
