ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Facsimile apparatus comprising plural key switches; memory means for setting plural memory regions respectively corresponding to the plural key switches and for storing telephone. numbers in each of the memory regions; and detection means for detecting whether a document is set; wherein in case that the set is detected when one of the key switches is operated, the facsimile apparatus successively reads out the telephone numbers of specified receivers from the memory region corresponding to the key switch operated and consecutively dials the numbers and transmits the scanned record of the document to the receivers; and in case that the set is not detected when one of the key switches is operated, the facsimile apparatus successively reads out the telephone numbers of specified transmitters from the memory region corresponding to the key switch operated and consecutively dials the numbers and requires transmission of the scanned records of documents from the transmitters.
