FACSIMILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a facsimile communication system in which facsimile information from original documents is sequentially transmitted from a transmitter to a remote receiver. The transmitter is utilized for changing the data transfer speed of the facsimile information in accordance with an instruction signal provided by the remote receiver. The remote receiver supervises the error rate level of each unit of facsimile information of the original documents and provides an instruction signal when the error rate level is detected to exceed a reference error rate level. -1-
