The present invention relates to a faecal management device (10) designed to provide improved body fit between the flange (12) and the skin of the wearer and thereby prevent leakage. The faecal management device comprises a bag (11) having an aperture (21), and an anatomically-shaped flange (12), which surrounds the aperture (21). The flange (12) provides for adhesive attachment to the perianal area of the wearer. In particular, the flange (12) comprises a projection (29) in the rear portion of the flange (27), which provides an effective seal between the flange (12) and the skin of the wearer and prevents leakage at the coccyx. In another aspect of the present invention, the faecal management device comprising such a flange is used in combination with a disposable diaper (50).
Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif collecteur de selles (10) conçu pour assurer une meilleure adaptation au corps entre la collerette (12) et la peau de l'utilisateur et empêcher ainsi les fuites. Ce dispositif collecteur de selles comprend un sachet (11) comportant une ouverture (21) et une collerette de forme anatomique (12) qui entoure cette ouverture (21). La collerette (12) assure la fixation par adhésif à la zone périanale de l'utilisateur. Cette collerette (12) comporte en particulier dans sa partie arrière (27) une saillie (29) formant un joint d'étanchéité effectif entre la collerette (12) et la peau de l'utilisateur et empêchant ainsi les fuites au niveau du coccyx. Dans un autre aspect de cette invention, ce dispositif collecteur de selles comprenant une telle collerette est utilisé en association avec une couche d'incontinence jetable (50).
