ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A failure detection system for a stop-lamp circuit which serves to turn on a stop lamp when a brake switch is closed by operating a brake of an automobile, including a control cir- cuit which is so constructed that a power circuit for an alarm lamp is formed to turn on the alarm lamp by closing the engine ignition switch and is broken by turning on the brake switch arranged in the stop lamp circuit.
