ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A nail support strip is provided for use with pneumatically or hydraulically powered nail drivers. The strip is moulded of plastic material and has a plurality of identical sleeves connected in single file so that each sleeve may be severed in turn from the strip. Each sleeve surrounds and grips the shank of a nail and, when the nail is driven, the sleeve will spread apart to permit the nail to pass therethrough. When the nail is driven the sleeve is blocked by a workpiece to prevent movement thereof.
