FAN FOLDABLE MEMBERSHIP CARD MAILERS ABSTRACT Manufacturing lines are operated to produce continuously attached membership card mailers, which may be fan folded, and then packaged by a manufacturer, for delivery to an organization The staff of the organization thereafter, upon demand, complete the entry of information on the continuously attached membership card mailers, then separate them, and thereafter deliver them to respective members. The members in turn remove the inner portion of the paper overlay area of the membership card mailer, along its perforations, exposing their respective membership cards which are then separated from their parent PVC stock by completing the separation previously started by micro- perforations ground the periphery of the membership card. In the manufacturing process, polyvinyl chloride stock is fed through a manufacturing line centering on printing presses and related equipment, whereby this polyvinyl chloride stock is modified by: creating pin feed holes parallel to and evenly spaced along both edges of this stock, initially preferably supplied in a rolls creating perforations adjacent and parallel to the pin feed holes spaced along both edges of this stocks creating perforations spaced transversely on this stock and extending between the perforations which are adjacent and parallel to the pin feed spaced holes, whereby these perforations determine the size of each membership card mailer; creating microperforations arranged both in the direction of the length of this stock, and in the transverse direction across this stock, within the perforated size of each membership card mailer, thereby determining the size of each membership card being created; creating a clear copy matte coating in a rectangular ape area at a selected location on each membership card being created; printing information on one or both sides of this polyvinyl chloride stock; obtaining paper stock to cover the membership card mailer polyvinyl chloride portions; printing information on this paper stocks printing a block out portion on this paper stock to be placed over the clear copy making matte coating on the membership card being created; converting the paper stock into paper overlays, affixing the paper overlay to the polyvinyl chloride stock using adhesive applied to the polyvinyl stock, in a location and configuration to match the borders of the paper overlay when machine positioned onto the polyvinyl stock; whereby the paper overlay serves effectively as an equivalent of a mailing envelope; and delivering the attached membership card mailers by the manufacturer to the organization, preferably first fan folding and packaging them, for subsequent impact printing completion by the staff of the organization.
