ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fan motor mount useful in a refrigeration device is provided in which a fan motor has a housing and a drive shaft extending from one side of the fan housing for carrying a fan blade. A fan scroll with an orifice for receiving the fan blade carries the motor. A motor retainer clamps the motor onto the scroll without the use of additional fasteners. A first resilient grommet is positioned between the fan motor and the scroll and a second resilient grommet is positioned between the fan motor and the retainer. The fan scroll has a boss for receiving the first grommet, the boss and the grommet being sized to correctly position the fan blade within the scroll orifice. The motor is vibrationally isolated from the fan scroll and is attached without additional fasteners. 12
