ABSTRACT The forward frame portion of a farm tractor is provided with a first and a second equipment accommodating mounting location so that the basic underhood equipment can be mounted in one of two configurations. The first con- figuration is generally adapted for a two wheel drive tractor where the engine is conventionally mounted between the front and rear axles of the tractor, the radiator is forward of the engine and an air cleaner is forward of the radiator. A second configuration is adapted for use with a driven front axle thus providing a four wheel drive tractor. In this configuration the engine is located generally above the front axle, the radiator is rearward of the engine and the air cleaner is rearward of the radiator. In either of the con- figurations only one of the mounting locations is utilized while the other is unutilized.
