ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rack for a farm wagon and particularly adapted to carry and transport bales of hay, straw and the like. This rack comprises a platform, walls of lattice construction with side walls and an end wall that pivot to fold down in stowed position over the platform, each side wall having R gate aperture, a footboard pivoted to each lateral edge of the platform in registry with the corresponding gate aperture, and shutter bars pivotally and slidably connected outside of each side wall to either engage into sockets, thereby closing the corresponding gate aperture, or to engage catches holding the shutter bars to open the gate aperture.
