The invention relates to a farrowing pen (2) comprising an associated pigpen whose sidewalls form a feeding trough (10) in the forward area. The sidewalls are connected to a wall either directly or via extensions while the farrowing pen is fixedly arranged on an associated prefabricated steel wall (1). In a preferred embodiment, two respective farrowing pens are connected to one prefabricated steel wall.
