An improved assembly for mounting a fascia to a structure such as a building. The improved assembly includes an elongate rail element for fixing to the structure, the rail element having fastening means distributed along its length.The assembly also includes a plurality of bracket elements, each bracket elementhaving means for cooperating with the fastening means to effect securement of each bracket element to the rail element and further having means for engaging the fascia. The improved assembly may also include an elongate fascia panel for mounting to the structure via the engaging means. A concealed gutter may be supported intermediate the rail element and the engaging means.
