Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) which is produced by a gas phase polymerization process is difficult to extrude into plastic film. This invention mitigates this problem by using a blend of a first LLDPE (which is prepared in a gas phase polymerization process) with a small amount of a second LLDPE (which is prepared in a specific solution polymerization process) and a processing additive which comprises from 500 to 2000 parts per million of a poly(oxyalkylene) polymer, based on the combined weight of the two LLDPE resins.
