The present invention refers to an asymmetric thermo-optical device comprising a waveguiding structure which comprises at least one input light path (1) and a first output light path (2) and a second output light path (3), the second output light path (3) having a smaller width than the first output light path (2), and the first output light path (2) being provided with a first heating element (4), characterised in that the second output light path (3) is provided with a second heating element (5). In a preferred embodiment of the invention the second heating element (5) is connected to a capacitor which is connected in parallel with the first heating element (4).
Ce dispositif thermo-optique asymétrique comprend une structure à fibre optique avec au moins une voie d'admission de lumière (1), une première voie de sortie de lumière (2) et une deuxième voie de sortie de lumière (3). La deuxième voie de sortie de lumière (3) est moins large que la première voie de sortie de lumière (2). La première voie de sortie de lumière (2) contient un premier élément chauffant (4) et la deuxième voie de sortie de lumière (3) contient un deuxième élément chauffant (5). Dans un mode préféré de réalisation de l'invention, le deuxième élément chauffant (5) est connecté à un condensateur qui est connecté en parallèle au premier élément chauffant (4).
