ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to wasteless separable fastener attachment stock that is particularly suitable for use in apparatus for dispensing fasteners, and a method of coupling layers of material by the fastener attachment. The stock comprises elongated side members that are joined by cross links. The attachment is separated from the fastener attachment stock and driven into the layers to be coupled.
