ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE FASTENER FOR HARVESTER BELTS Conveyor belt fasteners are provided for joining together ends of a pair of spaced conveyor belts having a plurality of spaced rods spanning the spaced belts. The belt fasteners fastened to adjacent ends of the belt are identical in shape to reduce the inventory of fasteners. Preferably, each belt fastener has a pair of identical hinge loops which are interleaved to receive a hinge pin on the ends of one of the parallel rods. The inventory of fasteners can be further reduced by using enlarged or oblong holes to accommodate fasteners spaced at each of two different nominal spacings for the fasteners.
