ABSTRACT A fastener for securing built-up roofing membranes used to waterproof cementitious roof decks. The fastener has a head and shank portion designed to resist withdrawal from the roof deck, the head of which is coated with a coating having substantial imperviousness to corrosion. The portion of the fastener embedded in the cementitious layer of the deck is substantially free of said coaling. A tab may be used on combination with the fastener to increase the wind uplift resistance of the waterproofing covering material. The tab may also include a coating having substantial imperviousness to corrosion. WPHBC/ID24/1-10
