A fastener for holding or clamping at least one object is provided that comprises: a band (10) formed into a closed loop, said band having a first end and a second end and teeth (18) on its outer surface; and a head (12) that holds the band in a closed loop and comprises a first and a second passageway (20, 22). The second end of the band is secured in a second passageway (20) by teeth (24) that engage with the teeth of the band. The band is then passed around the object to form a loop and the first end of the band is pushed into the first passageway (22) that also includes teeth that engages the teeth on the band and prevents the band from being pulled out of the first passageway. A chamber (34) is located at one end of the first passageway (22) and has an opening in the outer face of the head. The chamber is accessible from outside the head through the opening to enable a leading part of the first end of the band that has passed through the passageway to be engaged in the chamber and pulled to tighten the band. The leading part of the first end is accommodated within said chamber, to provide a compact low-profile clamp with no sharp edges that could cause snagging.
La présente invention concerne une attache destinée à maintenir ou à serrer au moins un objet qui comprend : une bande (10) en boucle fermée, ladite bande présentant une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité et des dents (18) sur sa surface extérieure ; et une tête (12) qui maintient la bande en boucle fermée et qui comprend un premier et un second passages (20, 22). La seconde extrémité de la bande est fixée dans un second passage (20) par des dents (24) qui se mettent en prise avec les dents de la bande. La bande est alors passée autour de l'objet afin de former une boucle et la première extrémité de la bande est poussée dans le premier passage (22) qui comprend également des dents qui mettent en prise les dents sur la bande et empêchent la bande d'être sortie du premier passage. Une chambre (34) se situe au niveau d'une extrémité du premier passage (22) et présente une ouverture dans la face externe de la tête. La chambre est accessible de l'extérieur de la tête à travers l'ouverture afin de permettre à une partie de tête de la première extrémité de la bande qui est passée à travers le passage d'être mise en prise dans la chambre et tirée pour resserrer la bande. La partie de tête de la première extrémité est logée à l'intérieur de ladite chambre afin de fournir un serrage modéré compact sans arêtes vives qui pourraient provoquer des accrocs.
