Abstract The invention provides a device for retaining an information sheet or similar article against a plane surface such as a wall or window. The device comprises a plate having a self-adhesive strip for application to the plane surface. A roughened portion on the plate grips an information sheet or similar article inserted between the plate and the plane surface.
