The present invention relates to novel fatty acid analogues of the general formula (I): CH3-[CH2]m - [X i - CH2]n, - COOR, wherein n is an integer from 1 to 12, and wherein m is an integer from 0 to 23, and wherein i is an odd number which indicates the position relative to COOR, and wherein X i independent of each other are selected from the group comprising O, S, SO, SO2, Se and CH2, and wherein R represents hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl, with the proviso that at least one of the X i is not CH2, or a salt, prodrug or complex thereof, for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment and/or prevention of primary and/or secondary stenosis. Further the present invention relates to the use of said compounds for the prevention and/or treatment of a disease caused by procedural vascular trauma and/or pathological proliferation of smooth muscle cells, and/or an increased level of plasma homocysteine.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux analogues d'acides gras, de la formule générale (I) : CH3-[CH2]m-[Xi-CH2]n-COOR dans laquelle n est un nombre entier de 1 à 12, m est un nombre entier de 0 à 23 et i est un nombre impair indiquant la position par rapport à COOR, et dans laquelle les Xi indépendamment, sont sélectionnés dans le groupe comprenant 0, S, SO, SO2, Se et CH2, et dans laquelle R représente hydrogène ou alkyle C1-C4, à la condition que au moins un des Xi ne représente pas CH2, ou un sel, un promédicament ou un complexe de ceux-ci, destinés à la préparation d'une composition pharmaceutique de traitement et/ou de prévention de la sténose primaire et/ou secondaire. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation desdits composés dans la prévention et/ou le traitement d'une maladie provoquée par un trauma vasculaire de procédure et/ou une prolifération pathologique de cellules des muscles lisses, et/ou un niveau accru d'homocystéine du plasma.
