ABSTRACT There is provided a water system which includes at least one faucet, a reservoir, a pump for pumping water from the reservoir to the faucet, and conduit means interconnecting the reservoir, the pump and the faucet. There is further provided a pump motor, and a three-way T-valve adapted to be connected (a) to a source of water under pressure,(b) to said faucet, and (c) to said reservoir. In a first position of the T-valve, the source is connected to the reservoir, in a second position -thereof the reservoir is connected to the faucet, and in a third position thereof the source is connected to the faucet. contoured cam is provided in association with the T-valve for rotation therewith, and a override switch controls the pump motor, the switch having a sensing member riding against the cam. The cam is configured such that the override switch is "off" in the said first and third positions, and is "on" in the said second position, whereby the pump can operate only when said T-valve is in the second position.
