A system and method are provided enabling implicit redundancies such as constant differences and points that should be on the same curve, to be checked at the beginning, end and intermittently throughout the computation to thwart fault injection attacks. This can be implemented by checking the constant difference in point pairs during point multiplication, by checking constant scalings in exponentiation pairs, and by checking that any intermediate point is on the curve and/or in the correct subgroup of the curve.

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de vérifier des redondances implicites telles que des différences constantes et des points qui devraient se trouver sur la même courbe, au début, à la fin, et de façon intermédiaire au cours du calcul, afin de contrer des attaques d'injection d'erreurs. La mise en oeuvre consiste à vérifier la différence constante dans des paires de points au cours d'une multiplication des points, à vérifier des mises à l'échelle constantes dans des paires d'exponentiation et à vérifier que tous les points intermédiaires se trouvent sur la courbe et/ou dans le sous-groupe correct de la courbe.
