Setting of a bypass path upon occurrence of transmission failure, is applicable for large scale network. A system includes signaling means which makes judgment whether bypassing process is performed by an own node by a bypassing process judgement means when a release message issued upon occurrence of failure, is received. Upon judgment to perform bypassing process, computation of bypass path is requested by the path computing means. On the basis of result of computation, bypass path is established and switched. In the bypassing process judgment means, judgment is made whether bypassing process is performed by the signaling means or not depending upon the relationship of positions of the faulty portion and the own node.

L'invention est une méthode d'établissement de trajets de dérivation en cas de défaillance de transmission dans les grands réseaux. Le système de l'invention comprend un dispositif de signalisation qui détermine si la dérivation doit être effectuée par l'un des noeuds d'un dispositif d'évaluation de processus de dérivation quand est reçu un message de libération émis au moment d'une défaillance. Après l'évaluation servant à déterminer si une dérivation doit être effectuée, le dispositif de calcul de trajets demande le calcul d'un trajet de dérivation. Ce trajet de dérivation est établi et commuté d'après le résultat du calcul. Le dispositif d'évaluation de processus de dérivation détermine si la dérivation doit être effectuée par le dispositif de signalisation en se basant sur la relation entre les positions de la partie défaillante et de son propre noeud.
