A feed accelerator system for use in a centrifuge comprising a concentrically mounted accelerator (28) including a plurality of spaced disc members (29, 41) one disc including a target surface (37) having no sharp bends, and a feed pipe (34) discharging near the target surface (37). The disc members (29, 41) having vanes (39) therebetween forming a plurality of feed channels. The above parts interrelated to provide minimum feed splashback, uniform feed distribution and circumferential flow uniformity, maximum feed acceleration and maximum centrifuge separation efficiency.
Système accélérateur d'alimentation pour utilisation dans une centrifugeuse constituée d'un accélérateur (28) monté de façon concentrique et comprenant une pluralité de disques espacés (29, 41) dont l'un est doté d'une surface cible (37) sans courbures prononcées, et un tuyau d'alimentation (34) se déchargeant près de la surface cible (37). Les disques (29, 41) ont des ailettes (39) entre eux qui forment une pluralité de canaux d'alimentation. Les pièces susmentionnées sont reliées de façon à minimiser les éclaboussures tout en assurant une alimentation distribuée également et un écoulement circonférentiel uniforme, une accélération maximale de l'alimentation et un maximum d'efficacité dans la séparation centrifuge.
