- 1 - Abstract: A device is provided for feeding a continuous strip that consists of a series of bag portions each containing a relatively rigid article, e.g. a spoon, interconnected by flexible connecting portions. The device consists of a rotary element having a plurality of parallel ridges equi- spaced from each other. These ridges are adapted to engage the connecting portions, and the spacing between the ridges is approximately equal to the width of each bag portion in the direction of extent of the strip or to a multiple of such width. This element is rotated by an angle corres- ponding to a desired feeding increment for the strip.
