Described is a feed distribution system with feed dispensers (20), dispenser trays (22) of which have a convex edge (27) with successive edge areas (62) which have a relatively large radius of curvature and edge areas (62) which have a relatively small radius of curvature; a suitable shape in this connection is an elliptical shape, a triangular shape, a hexagonal shape etc. The invention provides improved animal welfare, inter alia through a larger feeding space and also larger living space when the birds are not feeding. The invention further provides improved economic efficiency for the breeder, inter alia by reduced costs per bird.
Cette invention concerne un système de distribution de nourriture pour volaille avec distributeurs (20) et bacs récepteurs (22) dont le bords convexe (27) présente une succession de faces (61) à courbure relativement ouverte et des coins (62) à angle relativement fermé. Une forme elliptique, triangulaire, hexagonale, etc. est à cet égard appropriée. Cette invention garantit un plus grand bien-être pour les animaux en raison notamment de la place plus importante autour des mangeoires plus grandes et à un espace de vie plus important en dehors des périodes d'alimentation. Pour l'éleveur, l'invention garantit une meilleure rentabilité attribuable notamment au coût réduit par oiseau.
