The invention relates to a bipolar reduced-thickness plate comprising channels (21) for simultaneously circulating a fuel, combustible and a coolant (41) in the same plane. The inventive power supply plate, preferably made of a composite material, is provided on each side thereof (1A, 1B) with a circuit network for circulating a fuel or combustible which are supplied by supply holes (2, 3) passing through the plate. Cooling is carried out by means of supply holes (4) which feed one or several cooling channels (41) embodied between the parts of fuel or combustible channels (21). Through passages (43) enable the channels to pass from one surface to the other in such a way as to provide the circulation and removal of the coolant. Said invention also makes it possible to distribute a fuel and combustible on both sides of the plate and to simultaneously carry out the cooling process. The invention can be used for high-power and medium-power fuel cells.
La plaque bipolaire a une épaisseur réduite puisqu'elle comprend dans un même plan les canaux de circulation (21) à la fois du carburant, du combustible et du liquide réfrigérant (41). La plaque d'alimentation, qui est d préférence en composite, possède sur chacune de ses faces un (lA, 1B) un réseau de canaux de circulation, soit de carburant, soit de combustible, qui sont alimentés par des trous d'alimentation (2, 3) traversant la plaque. La réfrigération se fait au moyen de trous d'alimentation (4) alimentant un ou plusieurs canaux de réfrigération (41) implantés entre les parties des canaux de circulation (21) du comburant ou du combustible. Des passages de traversée (43) permettent aux canaux de passer d'une face à l'autre de façon à organiser la circulation et l'évacuation du fluide de réfrigération. Il est ainsi possible de distribuer de part et d'autre de la plaque le carburant et le combustible, tout en organisant une réfrigération. Application aux piles à combustible de moyenne et grande puissances.
