Feed table in the area of side lays of a sheet-fed printing press, wherein a solid-surface table cover is arranged between a table surface covering the table center and the side lay (4), said solid-surface table cover having compressible and/or expandable regions in the direction of the lateral displacement of said side lay (4); said feed table including support elements which form a uniform sheet-guiding plane, said support elements being adjustable in their position in the direction of the lateral displacement of the side lay, and means provided for adjusting the position of said support elements in dependence on the state of compression or expansion of said compressible and/or expandable regions.
