FEEDER FOR BULK MATERIALS Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is a feeder for bulk materials incorporating a metering contrivance with an inlet chute and a flight-equip- ped conveying medium located beneath the inlet chute and also incorporating a conveyor with a flight-equipped conveying me- dium for feeding the material to the desitination which is lo- cated beneath the metering contrivance and consists of carry- ing and return runs; at least one flight on the flight-equipped mediums of the metering contrivance and the conveyor is provi- ded with a blade to form a cleaning flight, the sharp edge of the blade being located below the base of the flight and limit stops being provided above the carrying runs of the flight-equipped conveying medium of the conveyor to prevent the conveying medium from lifting beyond an allowable limit.
