The present invention provides a feeder of molten metal for moulds of continuous casting machines comprising a cylindrical body (1) within which a main outflow duct (5) of the molten metal coming from the tundish is formed to which the cylindrical body (1) is connected by means of a frustoconical joint (2), formed integrally with the cylindrical body (1) at the upper end thereof, characterized in that the free end (3) of the cylindrical body (1) is of substantially frustopyramid shape and has a plurality of outlets (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) communicating with the main outflow duct (5).
La présente invention concerne une masselotte d'alimentation en métal liquide pour moules de machines à moulage continu. Ladite masselotte comporte un corps (1) cylindrique dans lequel est formé un conduit (5) d'évacuation principal du métal liquide provenant du bassin de coulée. Le corps (1) cylindrique est relié au bassin de coulée par l'intermédiaire d'un joint (2) tronconique. La masselotte est entièrement formée par le corps (1) cylindrique au niveau de son extrémité supérieure. Elle est caractérisée par le fait que l'extrémité libre (3) du corps (1) cylindrique est sensiblement en forme de tronc de pyramide et qu'elle est dotée d'une pluralité d'orifices de sortie (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) qui communiquent avec le conduit (5) principal d'évacuation.
