Abstract A feeding device for installation work, such as dril- ling or equivalent, the feeding device having a tubular body (2) and a feed rod (3) within it, mov- able in the longitudinal direction of said body (2). The feed rod (3) includes a chain (3b) recessed in- wardly from its outer surface, being fixed at its ends immovably to the feed rod (3). A sprocket wheel (5a) extending to the chain (3b) is fixed to the body (2), and a feed lever (6) provided with a pawl mechanism is connected to the arm (5b) of the sprocket wheel (5a). (Figure 1)
