A feeding device (10) for down hole tubulars includes a frame (12) which defines a support surface (14). first and second stops (40) are arranged to reciprocate in stop guides (42) between an upper position, in which the stops interrupt movement of a tubular (T), and a lower position in which the stops allow movement of the tubular (T). The stop guides (42) are moveable relative to one another to adjust the separation between the stops (40) as appropriate for tubulars (T) of different diameters. A tilting actu- ator arm (46) cycles the stops (40) between upper and lower positions to control the feeding of tubulars (T) along the support sur- face (14).
