ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Measuring head for the precision measurement of the internal geometry of a continuous casting mold. The head is movable in the direction of its longitudinal axis and is provided on a first side with three locating pips defining a triangle in a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the measuring head, with a first measuring feeler which on this side is perpendicular to the plane of the triangle, with at a spring-loaded abutment on the opposite second side of the measuring head for generating thrust in a direction normal to the plane of the triangle, and with a second measuring feeler on the second side disposed co- axially with the first feeler and adapted to make contact with the surface of the facing mould wall. There is also provided a display operatively connected to the measuring feelers for indicating the positions of the feelers.
