The present invention provides a refastenable fastening device including female fastening component (12) preferably comprising a base web (53) and an engaging layer (54). The base web (53) comprises a structural elastic-like film (SELF) web (52) and is joined to the engaging layer which comprises a plurality of filaments or a nonwoven web. The SELF web (52) exhibits an elastic-like behavior in the direction of elongation without the use of added elastic materials. The SELF web includes a strainable network having at least two distinct regions comprised of the same material composition. The first region (64) is oriented substantially parallel to an axis of elongation such that it will undergo a molecular-level deformation in response to an applied axial elongation in a direction substantially parallel to the elongation axis before a substantial portion of the second region (66) initially undergoes a substantially geometric deformation in response to an applied elongation in a direction substantially parallel to the axis. The second regions (66) include a plurality of raised rib-like elements (74) which act in conjunction with the filaments or nonwoven web to provide a more effective female component with an increased ability to entangle the hooks of a complementary male component.
Cette invention porte sur un dispositif d'attache refermable comprenant un élément d'attache femelle (12) comportant, de préférence, une bande de base (53) et une couche de contact (54). La bande de base (53) comporte une bande (52) de film du type élastique structural (SELF), et est jointe à la couche de contact comprenant plusieurs filaments ou une bande en non tissé. La bande (52) SELF présente des propriétés élastiques dans le sens de l'allongement sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'utiliser des matériaux élastiques supplémentaires. Ladite bande SELF comporte également un réseau déformable constitué d'au moins deux régions distinctes faites du même matériau. La première région (64) est orientée de manière sensiblement parallèle à un axe d'allongement de sorte qu'elle subit une déformation au niveau moléculaire en réaction à une force d'allongement appliquée axialement, dans un sens sensiblement parallèle à l'axe d'allongement, avant qu'une partie importante de la seconde région (66) ne subisse une quelconque déformation, une déformation géométrique notable en réaction à une force d'allongement appliquée dans un sens sensiblement parallèle à l'axe susmentionné. Les secondes régions (66) comportent plusieurs éléments (74) en forme de nervures faisant saillie, agissant de concert avec les filaments ou la bande en non tissé pour constituer un élément femelle d'un meilleur rendement et mieux à même d'être agrippé par les crochets d'un élément d'attache mâle complémentaire.
