Female contact, e.g., for use in high-voltage disconnectors, that comprises two interpenetrated sockets. The first metal socket is made of a single extruded piece of metal which has been machined; it comprises metal contact fingers (2) designed to cooperate electrically with a male contact (8). The other socket comprises fingers (11) made out of an insulating material; the insulating fingers (11) limit any radial and lateral movement by the contact fingers to predetermined values below their elastic deformation limit, and insulate the contact fingers from each other and from the eventual compression ring that will surround the contact fingers, in order to eliminate the risk of fingers welding together and/or burning of the compression ring in the event of a short-circuit.

Contact femelle, notamment pour sectionneur à haute tension, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend deux tulipes interpénétrées, une première tulipe métallique réalisée par extrusion d'un bloc métallique suivie d'usinage, ladite première tulipe comprenant des doigts de contact métalliques (2) destinés à coopérer électriquement avec un contact mâle (8), l'autre tulipe comprenant des doigts (11) en matériau isolant, les doigts isolants (11) limitant les déplacements des doigts de contact, dans le sens radial et dans le sens latéral, à des valeurs prédéterminées inférieures à la limite de déformation élastique du doigt, et isolant les doigts de contact les uns des autres, ainsi que les doigts de contact de l'éventuel ressort de pression entourant les doigts de contact, afin de supprimer, lors d'efforts de court-circuit, le risque de soudure des doigts et/ou de brûlage du ressort.
