[Problem to be Solved] A female coupling member is provided for a pipe coupling that handles a high-pressure fluid. The female coupling member has collet-type locking members capable of correctly connecting the female coupling member and the associated male coupling member. [Solution Means] The male coupling member receiving portion 22 has an inward inner surface 35-2 that slidingly engages a forward end outer peripheral surface 12-2 of the male coupling member 12 when the male coupling member 12 is inserted into the male coupling member receiving portion 22 and before as the male coupling member 12 reaches a position where the engaging portion 12-1 of the male coupling member 12 is engaged by the latch portions 32-1 of the locking members 32. The male coupling member receiving portion 22 further has a forward end inner surface 20-1(2) that slidingly engages an outer peripheral surface 12-3 of the male coupling member 12 that is more rearward of the forward end outer peripheral surface 12-2 than the engaging portion 12-1 of the male coupling member 12 at the same time as the inward inner surface slidingly engages the forward end outer peripheral surface 12-2 of the male coupling member.
L~invention concerne un joint femelle doté d~une griffe de verrouillage de type collet capable d~accoupler correctement le joint femelle à un joint mâle dans un joint pour tuyau à fluide haute pression. Le joint femelle selon l~invention comprend une partie réceptrice de joint mâle (22) comportant une surface intérieure de partie profonde (35-2) et une surface intérieure d~extrémité avant (20-1 (2)). La surface intérieure de partie profonde (35-2) s~emboîte de façon coulissante avec la surface périphérique extérieure de partie de bout (12-2) du joint mâle avant l~insertion du joint mâle dans la partie réceptrice de joint mâle (22) jusqu~à une position fixe dans laquelle la partie verrouillée (12-1) du joint mâle (12) s~emboîte avec la partie de verrouillage (32-1) de la griffe de verrouillage (32). La surface intérieure d~extrémité avant (20-1 (2)) s~emboîte de façon coulissante avec la surface périphérique extérieure (12-3) du joint mâle positionnée à l~arrière de la surface périphérique extérieure de partie de bout (12-2) sur le côté opposé de la partie verrouillée (12-1) du joint mâle immédiatement après l~emboîtement coulissant de la surface intérieure de partie profonde avec la surface périphérique extérieure de partie de bout (12-2) du joint mâle.
