A female electric terminal (1) made of conductive sheet metal and integrally comprising a contact body (2) with contact means (14, 15) cooperating with a complementary male terminal (3a, 3b); and a portion (4) for connection to an electric cable; the contact means consisting of a pair of flexible blades (14, 15) projecting outwards of and from respective opposite walls (11 , 10) of the contact body (2) and cooperating elastically with respective opposite faces of the male terminal (3a, 3b); the blades (14, 15) being asymmetrical in relation to the plane (.alpha.) of the male terminal (3a, 3b) so as to define offset contact areas on the respective faces of the terminal, and comprising respective flexible portions (18, 21) having at least approximately the same flexural rigidity.
Une borne électrique femelle (1) réalisée dans une feuille métallique conductrice forme un corps de contact (2) monobloc doté de moyens de contacts (14, 15) coopérant avec une borne mâle complémentaire (3<u>a</u>, 3<u>b</u>), ainsi que d'une portion (4) permettant son raccordement à un câble électrique (5); les moyens de contact consistent en une paire de lames flexibles (14, 15) s'étendant depuis les parois opposées respectives (11, 10) du corps de contact (2) en se recourbant vers l'extérieur de celles-ci, et coopérant de manière élastique avec les faces opposées respectives de la borne mâle (3<u>a</u>, 3<u>b</u>); les lames (14, 15) sont asymétriques par rapport au plan (.alpha.) de la borne mâle (3<u>a</u>, 3<u>b</u>), de manière à déterminer des zones de contact décalées sur les faces respectives de la borne mâle, et comprennent chacune des portions flexibles (18, 21) présentant au moins à peu près la même rigidité de flexion que les faces respectives de la borne mâle.
