16 ABSTRACT A fence assembly for use around fields, houses or buildings to prevent trespassing which comprise a plurality of wire meshes mounted between fence posts. Each post is made of a single sheet of galvanized steel folded and shaped by metal forming, and has two flanges projecting outwardly along its length, each having a free edge folded back to form a small channel through which a plurality of equally spaced open slots extend parallel to each other. The wires of the wire meshes adjacent their vertical lateral edges are sized and positioned to match and engage the open slots of the posts in order to attach the wire meshes to the posts. Thanks to its structure, the fence can easily and rapidly be installed, even by an unskilled person.
