ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a fiber aggregate having a smallest diameter of 3 mm. and comprising fibers, each fiber having a length of at least 15 mm., at least some of said fibers being intertwined to form a body of a substantially spherical to an elongate shape, and said body having a density ranging from about 0.01 to about 0.1 grams per cubic centimeter, the intertwining being such that a needle commonly used in needle processing technol- ogy to stitch materials together may penetrate said body and grip and withdraw any fiber from said body free from encountering any substantial resistance so that the pulled length extends out of the body without losing its cohesion with the body.
